CrossFit Aberdeen

The move to Aberdeen has provided an excellent opporunity to reconsider my fitness goals and aspirations. I have become more and more fascinated by CrossFit since Dom Moorhouse challenged me to participate in the CrossFit Open 2012.

The more I learn the more I like so it was with great excitement that I discovered CrossFit Abedeen would open the same month we arrived to live in the Granite City! What a great bunch of guys running the show there on Urquhart Rd – awesome energy and authenticity – love it.

It is eary days but I am going to make an effort to record my performances (you can’t manage what you dont measure)…

Strength Testing:

Bench Press: 105 KG
Squat: 140 KG
Press: 65 KG
Dead Lift: 190 KG

As many rounds of 5 thrusters (30 KG), 7 pull ups, 9 sit ups as possible in 10 mins: 10

For time 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 reps of each kettlebell swing (24 KG), wall ball (10 KG), box jumps (30″): 9.34 mins

There were a few more in teams and with sprints. I am loving it and have a new zest for’phyz’… Bring on the WODs!!! LOVE IT.
